WEEK10 POST SID: s0113833

The four maintenance tasks that are implemented when the academic misconduct management system is in operation are as follows:

Corrective maintenance

The corrective maintenance can be used when we face some errors while the Academic misconduct management system is in operation. While in some online process when the online form is entered which errors so in some steps procedures has to be adopted to re-check the process of entry. By this way this task can be implemented.

Adaptive maintenance

This task is to add new features to the current AMMS system. So this can be implemented with some add-on features or extra fields in filling the forming online so that the possibility of manual errors can be reduced to maximum extent. Thus generating all the information for the first level of process to the last in the system.

Perfective maintenance

In this method the I.T staffs are more likely to be in operation for all the changes in the system’s operation. Like when they make any changes in the system so they have to train the user who are really in operation in the Academic Misconduct Management System. By doing so they can perform the current system to produce good results and feedbacks from the users.

Preventive maintenance

In the preventive maintenance task the I.T staff can involve themselves to track and monitor while the system in s in real time execution. They can the analyze the some practical scenarios and can rectify the small difficulties or blocks that happens in the system operation .by doing so they avoid prone errors to occur in the system operation .Finally y this task can be more essential in avoiding cost effective output to the management in the system operation.
